On Friday 5th June the Cheshire Constabulary Band played at the annual Whit Friday Marching contest. In attrocious weather conditions the band performed exceptionally. Our prizes are:

Broadoak - 1st Prize Deportment (£50)

Delph - 1st Prize 3rd/4th Section (£130), 1st Prize Deportment (£35)

Denshaw - 3rd place overall (£300), we were only beaten by Black Dyke (Championship) and Co-op Milnrow (Championship). 4th place were Hepworth (Championship).

Greenfield - 1st Prize Second Section (£150) 1st Prize Deportment (£50)

Friezland - 1st Prize 4th Section (£25). 1st Prize Deportment (£25)

Uppermill - 1st Prize Deportment (£55)

Total prize money £820.
