This Last Saturday the band appeared at the second "Brass Band Showcase " hosted by the Bactiguard Wire Brass band .

5 bands from section 4 through to the Championship performed the North West Regional Contest test pieces in preparation for the real thing next Sunday.

As usual adjudication in the form of very helpful and constructive comments was provided by Richard Evans (in his usual inimitable fashion)

The band gave an extremely assured performance of Labour and Love by Percy Fletcher and we are confident , with a weeks rehearsal still to come, that what ever the result we will do ourselves credit on the day.
