The corps of drums impressed again today as they led the parade for the opening day of the annual Sandbach festival of transport.

On a warm and sunny day (very different from the first year the corps and band played at the event) the corps led by Band Sgt Tony Jackson once again impressed all present, not only with the parade but with their polished routine afterwards.

The members of the Corps (like the band) all attend in their own time and they are proud to represent the Constabulary. They are fast gaining a fine reputation for themselves and are always well received whereever they go.

In what was a lovely touch after they had finished the members spotted the local Army cadet Force practising drill and immediately lent a hand by providing impromtu accompaniment.
