As we start now to prepare for the National Finals (and visit to Germany) in September it is clear that we will not be able to do both justice on our usual one rehearsal a week.

Therefore from Tuesday 12th July the band will be moving to two rehearsals a week ( Tuesday and Thursday) so please start to keep both days free.

Clearly this is the peak holiday period so there will be occassions when players (and myself) will be away but we can still do much work even with a reduced band.

Once I have appraised where the real difficulties lie in the test piece it may be that some extra Rehearsals may become sectionals, I will of course keep everyone informed.

I am also looking at running a day of sectionals with multiple " tutors" which would save a great deal of time. I am looking into this and will check with you for available dates as soon as possible.
