Back in 1981 the band made its one and only LP recording "Out of the blue".
It was recorded in a rather cramped Stawberry Studios in Stockport in the days before the mobile recording facilities we are so familar with today.
The bold art work on the cover featured the now demolished Police Head Quarters along with other well known landmarks from around Cheshire.
The then MD Charlie Holt use to joke that the LP was worth buying for the cover alone........
There are still copies to be found, in fact copies have recently been seen for sale on Ebay.
Just one member who played on the LP remains with the band, its' Solo Horn player, Dave Woollam
The current band is intending to continue the tradition and will be hopefully be recording its own CD some time in 2010/11.
The LP Featured the following programme:
Arnhem
Abba Selection
The Shepherds Song
So Deep Is The Night
Army of the Nile
Aces High
Moonlight Serenade
Trumpet Fiesta
Cavantina
memory
Deep Harmony
Walkabout
