The Band have now performed at two Schools around the County as part of its ongoing programme of school concerts throughout 2009 and into 2010.

Both have been hugely successful and we are looking forward to our next concert at Pear Tree Primary School Nantwich on Wednesday 1st April.

It was a pleasure to entertain parents, teachers and pupils alike; at our last concert ( Whitby High School ) we even enabled the Head Mistress to fulfil a life long ambition when she took the stage to conduct the band. This was much to the delight of the audience, the band and the Head herself.

Our first concert at Highfield School, Nantwich was to a capacity audience; we were joined on stage by at least 30 musicians from the school. It was an absolute delight to see so many young musicians playing along side (and with) the band. The work of Mrs Davies and the school cannot be understated. A particular high point at the concert was a performance by the bands corps of drums who its fair to say, brought the house down.
