Since June 2007, the band have been advertising for new players and we are delighted with the fantastic response. We have recruited new and committed players and very few remaining vacancies. We are looking forward to the future which will once again see the band contesting at the NW Regional Championships and the Whit Friday Marches Contest.

We have welcomed many new players into the band and hope to welcome many more during the coming months.

Following the NW Regional Championships in March Andy Cooper (Eb Bass) and Helen Morgan (Solo Baritone) have joined the band from the Roberts Bakery Band who triumphed in the 1st Section; our congratulations go to Roberts'.
